the rest is not build yet, but they'll come :p

Also i am curious if there are pep files that use layer based build.
just like my shoulders i used a plate and put foamies ontop to make the details.
this cannot be done with the files i have now for example the forearms, there are angles that have to be cut in order to fit the foam properly, that is not simple and plain messy :(
could someone make a pep file with a forearm base (has to be cut on angles, or its imposible) and built layers of detail ontop

i can explain further if you guys demand it

update time, i made a boot, didn't know MC got so comfy shoes :p

next step, make another one and paint these babies up

Looks like you've got a solid start! I'm curious as to what material/technique you are using for the undersuit. It's always been the one thing keeping me from starting a Halo 4 build. Without a decent undersuit, the armor loses it's character.

Are you doing a blue master chief costume? :D

The boots look great and really comfy :p What file did you use?
Could be some of my unfolds, but I threw out so many versions, that I don't know which one it is that you used for your boots ^^
Could you link me to the file or upload it somewhere? xD
I think the actual one that you can find in my thread is not the best, I will update that later.

carpathiavh99: i could explain it all if you want, it's sewn together by my grandmother, it consists of different layers of foam (kind of memory foam) and lycra, the octagon pattern is made by a fabric in a net form

The entire build looks wonderful. But OMG.. O.O Dat UNDERSUIT~ it's just gorgeous. Can't tell you how much this has inspired me to take my build to the next next level. Thanks spartanx360 :)
no problem, if you have questions about it,
ASK!!!

RD: yes i'm making a blue chief
the boots are from your template thread, i printed it out on paper and glued some parts together to have les cuts, when that was finished i combined the whole boot together with thin foam layers on my foot.

everyone, thank you for posting and viewing, you guys are the reason i post this

I see; sounds like it could work. Would it be possible to get a few pictures of it up close to get a good look at the material texture? Tell your grandmother that she has some exceptional sewing skills.

you can find all pictures on my photobucket, i can also send you the templates if you want, but you have to scale them to your body

I shouldn't have any trouble tackling a pattern, but if you wouldn't mind posting the templates or sending them, it would be greatly appreciated. It was the process that eluded me. Thank your grandmother for me! This is incredible.

Update time. I made the tigh pieces today. I made a pattern from the pep file from rainbow dash. And it seemed to fit. Then i cut out the pattern in foam and made the details in thinner foam. Still need to insert some pieces. But it's looking good
