I have finished most of the details now and have to start working on the fine details
Im also redoing the helmet because mine wasnt accurate to the game and looks silly.

First, here is what iv done on the helmet:

So as you can see the top is almost finished but still alot of sanding has to be done then ill start on the back adding all the details i can find from pics

This video was taken a day or two ago and just uploaded it gives you an idea of what needs to be done on the foam suit and the helmet

Those are looking good. Except for the pattern on the back, I can't even tell they are foam.

this all lookss to have been done very well. I am curious how did you get that pattern on the visor in the helmet you had done? also I think the helmet you had looked good.

Thanks, well thee effect on the helmet was easy to do but takes alot of patients first i sprayed the inside of a orange tinted visor with alclad II mirror chrome then i cut out alot of hexagons or you can just get a negative (honeycomb) stencil and placed them them as evenly as i can on the outside and gave it a light coat and then peeled of all the little stickers.

I will be doing a tutorial on the new visor for the new helmet.
And
The old helmet had missing fine detail, dints, chips and wont even look as half as good as the new helmet

Finally got som bodyfiller so today i started remodeling the front left

I have got some pics that are from the game and replicating most of the basic detail is going well. Once i have the whole helmet finished of the basic detail and raised ill get to the finer detail.

Fantastic progress so far, the foam work is top notch!

I was looking at going down the path of using Alclad II mirror chrome for the visor as well - how good is the visibility from inside?
I want to make sure I can see out of the helmet as well as look good ;)

The visibility isn't perfect if you have a nice even coat it just goes a bit darker and a tiny bit blurry but its still does the job and looks fantastic. If you do overspray you can just scrub it off. Let it dry for a few hours or overnight just to make sure it doesnt wipe of when you touch it.
You can also use spaz stix ultimate mirror chrome (airbrush) it is better than alclad.

Thanks for letting me know. I think I'm go with the spaz stix chrome because it is more readily available at my location. I haven't found anywhere nearby that stocks the Alclad.

My idea is to vac form the visor to get the indents, spray on the chrome and then do the light top coat as what you've done. Very effective!

You will have to dye it orange then spray, hope it goes well post some pics when you do it and the finished peice so i can see how it looks, i might want to buy xD

Amazing foam-work! I can't wait to see more. Looking at your pepakura armor, what kind of green did you use for the painting? I have bought several shades of green, but can't decide witch one to use, don't even know yet if the "right" green is among those cans. But yours is looking just right, so I came here to ask. ^^

The green is first a spraycan wild green than i airbrushed a very light mist of yellow followed by a mist the same green, THEN i airbrushed a mished of dark green and then black, then a green wash then a brown wash then a black wash. After all that i brushed the black details and the silver scratches.

I will do a tutorial on it
P.S. the helmet is almost ready for painting so it will be withing the next day or 2
