So RoboCop is coming on well! His shins are almost done and I have all the foam I need!

I will finish his shins this week coming then I will start from the top and fix any issues or parts I have missed. Then I will try it on, see the fit, sand him... spray him!

wait what Spartan don't get drunk and even if they did drink I won't want to be in that bar remember in Cole protocol where the Spartan came threw a solid rock wall and grabbed a guy.

Nice Legs!

I have finally built the basic shell to my RoboCop. Still no feet or gloves/hands but i have a plan for them. For now its now time to sand, fill and workout how to wear!

The opening leg is looking less and less as I build but I dont want to give-up until the last moment. I will build another right thigh to cut up to experiment with. It took 4 hours to make so not wanting to destroy it!!

Im happy with the shell of the suite but i need more TIME!!!!!

There is loads of work to do, but it is slowly getting there! Yeah the mannequin really helps show what he will look like. I need a better one that is stood more upright with his arms out, but its better than nothing!

Lets see if it fits!

Started trying on the suite.... hard when you're on your own.

Leg fits well. Had to remove the rear of the shin at the base due to no movement. Its tight. Dont know if I will be able to add the mechanism for the right thigh. I will build a bigger right thigh to work on. For now I at least will have a suite to wear.

Yeah, two mins to put it on... 35 mins to take off! NOTE TO SELF: It takes two to dawn the chest...

Yeah its fitting well! Its going to be a long day wearing it, I will not be wearing much underneath... I will have to workout how to stop my visor from steaming up, maybe a fan???????????

Added Leg Joints

Added the leg joints to see how they move... ITS GOING TO WORK!!!!
Also got my plastic undercoat today! All on track!

yeah i think a little fan in the helmet will help out. when i work my helmet with no fan even for a few minutes i was really hot. and this was at night. so see if you can possisly find a tiny one and maybe get two and hide them in the helmet somewhere? best of luck with it buddy. its coming along nicely

RoboCop Arm test

Just trying one arm on..... feels good... looking good.... YAY!
Looks like Both arms will be attached via my neck, along with latex gloves... going to be hot and uncomfortable but will look COOL!

interesting way of attaching the arm. maybe put some craft foam around where the strap sits on your neck so it has less chance to rub your neck raw.

Loving the build, I can't wait to see it after it gets painted all shiny

Be careful not to choke yourself out by mounting the arms around your neck. You might not realize you are cutting off circulation until you pass out. I say this especially since it'll form a "V" around the front of your neck which is the best way to knock someone out.

While it does add additional cost, having extra ways to mount your armor will make it so that things are more comfortable and they don't flop and slide around as much. I'm sure we might all think about things like this for our halo builds since we can see the undersuit, but I figured I would mention it just in case you haven't thought of having any particular mounting points.

The one on the left is a police shoulder harness, I think the one on the right is for load bearing applications, but for what, idk, I do like that it has the extra strap in the front though.

YES! I will be getting something like this. I have just tried both arms together and I don't think I could last a day!

I will try the chest and helmet together tomorow. I'm almost ready to paint it in PVA glue so happy with the progress. My feet have not been finished yet....
