Finally got Pep to work on my Mac :)
Have not done a lot but I am enjoying so far.

I do have one question not about the pics below; Just a future need to know.
-I don't exactly have master chiefs "build" :p I been looking into a muscle suit but holy $$$ for a good one. I could not sew to save my life or anyone else's.
Does anyone know where I could get one done?

Not the first helmet i tried but none the less looks good

But as for the suit, i just use black long underwear so i'm sorry i have no clue on that besides get some motorcross armor and put some black fabric over it

A lot of people use motocross armor, like Lordhood32 mentioned, and the effect is passable. I'm sure if you practiced sewing something, you could manage. Take a look at the undersuit in my build. I get a lot of compliments from it; and it might give you some inspiration.

First off...beautiful build Carpathia
I will be looking into your ideas for sure :)
I really did not want to spend $800 on the muscle suit :p

What are you looking at that costs $800?? That seems pretty steep.

Motocross armor generally runs anywhere between $60 and $250; though I still think better results can be had.

Yeah, you don't need anything like that. I've seen plenty of costumes built, made by guys with thin frames, that still look great. It all has to do with how well the armor is scaled to your body. If you try to build a piece with Master Chief's size in mind, it's going to look goofy. If you build it with your size in mind, it will look great.

Hey there, I noticed that you said you have a Mac in your first post and you are able to use pep designer on it... How because I can't find where to download it for Mac anywhere)))):

What you need to do is:
1) Own a copy of windows (Windows 8 basic or if you can windows 7 basic) - Should cost $80-$120 (again do you best to keep it legal)
2) Go here :http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/
3) Install fusion with the windows CD in the Drive
4) Enjoy Windows in a "window" on your mac

Found this after searching for "muscle suits"
http://flexdesigncostumes.com/
It would work great (For the price it had better); I am looking into other options of course :)

oh no you definitely do not need to have that to have a great suit. on my armor I have just a simple morphsuit Link to their website - http://www.zurchers.com/party-supplies/costumes/morphsuits.html (priced 20 dollars during the after season sale at a costuming store) it is just a tight fitting suit (some what like spandex) but if you wanted you can really do a lot of the "muscle" type of looks with simple Bulk foam placed underneath of the suit. (so far my total under suit cost is at around 30-50 dollars)

thats great progress!!!:D I'm a noob my self here on the forum... does anyone know how to convert pdo to pdf??

Well, the obvious solution is the print the .pdo and scan it back into your computer. However, there is not much point to doing that. What is the reason why you cannot use .pdo? If it is a mac issue, there is the software mentioned earlier. there is a PDF for master chief's helmet floating around somewhere around here, but I think that is the only part that has such a thing.

We took a look after you left and the rondo had already set, pretty impressive. Also bought some of the clay model tools we were talking about. Ready for tmr.

Tonight I'm going to add a couple more details to the Helmet....Then start the painting.
Pics to follow later :)

Well after paint shopping, and doing some final touch ups in the bondo.....painting. :)
As of now I am at the Second coat of Flat black. As always my helmet is first, and the a few pics from the friends work as-well.

Mine at the Silver (metal) stage:

After Two layers of the Flat Black:

(top of Helmet forgot to wipe off Vaseline; ear and side area had uneven drying....will be fixed)

IMG_2308_zps591eceb3.jpg
(loving how the damage is already looking)

IMG_2313_zps8d9bdaae.jpg
(that is not all "damage" the light caught it...it's black)

My two friends doing their ODST:

Next I have to go find the right green paint... the one I did buy....NO NONONO...no.
Anyone know of a really good color for rust-oleum??
