That is such brilliant work so far. Love the detail you've gone ahead with--the scratches on the helmet and around the eyes and everything else.
With your pedigree in your other suits under your belt this should be a promising build to watch unfold. Great work!
 
Have started testing out some painting detail before moving on. still heaps of layers to go

haha yeah man ive seen it, i sorta have to wing it a bit though, dont wanna get too hooked on making it overly accurate otherwise ill drive myself nuts

I think you should get a little obsessed with the details because it will be so worth it. I must admit I am tempted to do this too. I have always liked Briareos from Apple Seed but never got round to making a suit and this is like a beefier version of it. I will see though I have said I will make a million other suits and never got round to it :p

thinking of heat gun melting them through the chin plate and then putting some sort of attachment on the other side to stop it slipping through, probably use flexible shower head piping

Check out Poly hose it's very light and they make push lock fittings that can be easily installed.
