First time build Mark VIi (starting with the helmet)

So I've spent my time lurking around and figured it was time for me to start posting picks. I've thought about making armor for almost three years now and couldn't take it any longer. Halo is my religion and has been for over ten years now. So now to stop blabbing and start posting. (any critique is appreciated). Also I've uploaded them in my instagram form, because I like how they are collected.

Nice pep work. I also know why the pictures are not displaying.
In the image tags, you should have, say "http://i964.photobucket.com/albums/ae126/GusContagious/IMG_20131203_115545_zps48fa2d52.jpg". That shows this (Yes, this is your image):

However, you have "http://s964.photobucket.com/user/GusContagious/media/IMG_20131203_115545_zps48fa2d52.jpg.html?sort=3&o=5" in the image tag, which shows this:

If you use Photobucket, which you do, click on the "Direct" link thing on the right. This will copy the direct link to the image, which you want for use in the

LOL, I was going to ask if you were making a toddler sized one too! I hear babies don't too great in war though, their aim is a bit off and are known for accidental fratricide!

As it turns out, I am going to finish the smaller one for my daughter. She wants it to be purple and pink. I just won't go as crazy with the details because screw that tiny helmet.

Looks great. Alas poor Yorick.
Practicing on your kids helmet is a great way to learn. Trust me . Plus it's a great way to try new things.

On her helmet I learned that tiny intricate details are of the devil. Also to properly scale my head, my giant, giant head.

So I've added some details to the helmet. There was some ridging on the top that is different on my model (and picks) than what was included in the pep. Also I added vents to the back. I'm out of Bondo for about a week or two so for the next short while I will be working on my visor.

The knuckles and finger tips were a slight pain, but it went faster than I initially thought it would.

Got my visor all done up and the seal ready. I won't put it back in the helmet until I'm finished.
