CrazedOne Reach Build Mk II!

So as much as I love my first build, theres so much room for improvement. Plus I couldn't get the weathering and electronics done in time for PAX last year, so I just decided to go full on new build with some higher detail pep files!

I've started a bit already, here's what I got so far....

The shoulder is awaiting detail and electronics, while the gauntlets need a bit more detailing. I'm thinking of working on the ab wrap or thighs next. The gauntlets seem oddly shaped, but maybe thats just me...

Got both thighs done. So much better than the previous. (Im still pretty messy with the glue though…)

looking good! how's the flexibility of the inner thigh pieces? I usually make mine from two foamies sandwiched together, so I'm wondering if it's harder to move or fit the armor with the thicker eva foam

Well it has a good fit and walks fine just holding them up manually, but I'll have to get back to you once I have it connected to the belt. Although the top edges to rub together sometimes...

Big Update Time!

I have pics of both shins built, needs some polish bit they are a big improvement over the first ones.

The belt is all built, added the clips to attach the cod to the belt. Again, major improvement over the scratch built one.

Lastly I got the ab wrap done today. Very rough around the edges and had to really stretch it to connect it all, but after some silicon filling and sanding it should look presentable. Got a nice pic of the Mk I modeling it.

So for the Mk II visor I'm trying something a bit different. I want a more detailed visor as opposed to just a motorcycle visor, so I'm trying my first attempt at pep and resin. Once I get it done I need to find someone to vacuuform it for me. It fits the Mk I helmet pretty well so I think it'll work out. (Hopefully...)

So the suit has been done for almost a year now, and I've been posting most of my work on my Facebook page. No love for my build log here.... UNTIL NOW!!!!!

Whipped up some knee guards pretty quickly

One Commando Shoulder, hold the mayo

Some new, less clunky boots

Added some forearm details

Added magnets to the thigh and foam pistol

Once the visor buck was done, I had it sent out to Jose Valdez and he vaccuformed and painted it for me!

Recently made some upgrades to my commando shoulder for PAX in a few days! The old one was so low def and plain I had to replace it. Based the design off of WandererTJ's build.
