Hi, guys i love your forum and all your work, it is very inspiring.
I'm 28 and i'm from Austria
Last year i started with my ODST helmet and he turnt out very well, so i decited do make all parts of the armor.
It took my around 6 months to build (with breaks ;)

I have used Hugh Holder's files because i like how the look and the parts fit together.

This Picture is the current stand, with the painted scratches and the blue visor.

i have used my MP-7 Airsoft gun because she looks a little bit like the M7S Submachine Gun from Halo 3 ODST.

Inside the Helmet i have installed two fans. Powered with a Ni-MH 8,4V small type battery

But the armor is not completly finisht, i have to work on its mobilitiy and i want also a backpack
i'd like to hear your opinion.

Dude nice ODST!

My build consists mostly of Hugh's files, for the same reason. What did you use for your belt? Looks like molle, am I right? I don't want to hang my thigh/crotch/fanny pack armor for the chest core, too loose.

Yes i used this molle belt but without the shoulder straps

So in the future i can add some pouches or oder items on it. And he fits very well.

:).why don't you try sts less noisy :)

Hmm.. i could use a battery with lower voltage this will reduce the noise. But mayby my visor will get foggy.
I am currently using the two "side increases" as entrace for fresh air.

Really nice kit you have made! Great work.

Thanks, i think it turned out better than i expected.

And now a little updates:

I have cut out some of the edge of my rear shin guards to increase mobility.

And the same on the kneepad, now they fit much better.

Maybe i should have marked it. :confused

Finally i can kneel down and go up stairs allmost normally.

Awesome build :D
Bummer the fans are so loud in the helmet. Maybe if you used like a 1K resistor, maybe that'd make it a little quieter.

Question: It looks like you cut the front section off on your shins, is this correct?
