Put some primer on to see what it look like. But I need to get some grey. I don't like the black.

Not much of an update but I sanded down some of the edges:

And then applied the last coat of resin:

Also does any one have any reference pics of the back of the helmet?

Its looking great so far. One thing I would recommend is Spot Putty. Whenever you sad bondo you will have little dips and uneven places, (most of the time.) I know I ran into that problem. If you already know about it or are even planning to use it, great! It will fill in those little dips and imperfections. Keep up the good work!

Yeah man I have some, I just wanted to first completely shape the visor before getting into the small things.

Alright, now I can see thins thing coming together. Bondo is the part I dread the most in each build... I found Cereal Kill3r's tutorial on bondo to be extremely useful for working with those pesky edges. His videos are long, but he has some great info. I can't wait to see how this turns out!

Nice work man, smoothing a dome like that is such a long road. Your progress looks really solid on that front. I originally used that pep model, but after I had it built i noticed that it appears to have been based off a concept art shot rather than a game model. Also I built it way too small. I apologize if I missed this, but are you planning on vac forming the visor or cutting out the eyeholes? Keep it up, from one Emile to another

Yeah man bondo is the decently the worst part, especially on a large surface like the visor, and I watched some of his videos, good stuff

Nice progress looks good

Thanks man!

Yeah there are some parts that are incorrect like the things that I cut out, but other than that it doesn't seem that much different. I plan on vacuforming but I'm still trying to figure out the heating arrangement because I don't want to heat the plastic in my oven. I've also been trying to figure out how you tinted your visor gold?

Anyway not much has changed because I'm not at home all I have been doing for the most part is getting the visor surface even, It started like this:
1C6F1430-0923-4F0B-88BA-27CDB7793634_zpsh9fs1qab.jpg
322500EF-8848-49CA-AE47-3AECC3987F2C_zpsi2tzdhgy.jpg
and got to this after like ten layers of bondo
2EB2544A-504F-4095-BF6E-B21B9FC0E011_zps7srl51fq.jpg
The only other things I have done is smooth out the back part of the dome.
