Hey 405th - BluSpider93 and Obellist here.
We're building a couple of Recon ODST BDU's

This v

I'll upload pics later. The first helmet is almost done.

The helmet is Pepakura and Rondo

The armor is going to be EVA Foam

I did a trial paint after this, but realized I needed to use more rondo in some places. I'll upload pics later.

Is anyone else having trouble viewing the pictures? It isn't showing for me :/

i've always liked that armor but never tried it. For some reason the pics aren't showing up though.

I use PhotoBucket. Never really had any problems with it.

After that, I sanded some more and did another base coat:



and some detail before the white:



I'm about to go paint again, and I'll upload after I find out why my wife is having me picked up by a friend of ours.

The only thing I see is the visor portion looks a bit warped. You could maybe take a heat gun and try to reshape it. Or maybe try to build it out of EVA foam. Looking good!

yeah, we'll see how I manage with that.

I'm actually cutting out the inside of the visor thing. It was meant to help keep the helmets shape, and the rondo should help hold the visor in place.

Got a few updates. Have 6 days to get this done. Luckily there's a weekend hidden in there, so with the timeline I have "planned" I should be able to get this done.
I'm gonna finish pepping the rest in the next couple of days, and Rondo Saturday. Hopefully. I got a liner for the helmet, and I'll make a visor on Sunday... Pray to God I have this done by Thursday.
