So Ive decided to do a little archive thread of my current works with pepakura so far. I will keep this thread going for each new project that's in the works. This will also help me in a way, if you guys or pros see what im doing wrong in my models please tell me so I can improve a bit. Tutorial videos are acceptable. Anyways here are the Pepakura files of what I have completed, more are coming along the way.

So my first piece was a small one, Its the Buster Sword from Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7. I did this just so I can understand the basics. Took me about 2 and a half hours to finish.

Then I decided to go BIG or go home. By building a bigger version! Now I realized I did forget to do some important things while building, like adding cardboard to make it strong and sturdy, but it makes a good wall mount now.

My next one was learning the numbers by building the The Killer Mask from WANTED Weapons of Fate. Im sure you guys are very familiar with this one.

My current one Im wroking on and will be updated in the future is the TitanFall IMC Pilot Helmet. This was a bit challenging and it does not have numbers to guide me and the lines were hard to see, but Im making good progress in my opinion, I just got to add the attachments and the antenna and it will be done, but here is what I got so far for right now.

Stuff is looking good :)
i have a question though. Why did you print out the pieces with the color still on them instead of white like the mask?? is it because you didnt feel like painting them yourself, or did it make it easier to build??

Its because Im still learning how to do bondo and castings and painting which is what the mask is for, the rest are like that so Im making a placeholder till I acquire the actual helmet and swords. Got some buyers here where I live who want the paper helmet lol.

Ok, here is the newest update to the Titanfall Helmet. Its nearly done!

ages ago since I modeled that wanted mask, and bin some time since i've seen someone build it :p Looks good!

are there more colored pepakura filed like these?
I think i've seen some textured files in the archive, especially in the halo reach section.

That looks really good with the diffuse map printed. It would be probably work very well with mass producing low detailed suits. It would also look the most game acurite.

Don't refer to them as colored, but textured.

And to do it right, you can't use the game ready models for the peping without cleaning them up and adding detail, so you would have to bake the textures for the game-ready model to the peping model made from it. Which is not that hard at all, if you know what you are doing.

Thanks for the feedback guys! :D Im still deciding on the next project currently. Project blocks are a real bummer.

To expand on what master builder said, quite often, game models are not to scale. For example, link in the n64 games was only just over a foot high, and in halo, those 6.5" tall Spartans, are only 4" tall. These differences in scale ruin the game textures when you try to scale them up. The textures end up looking stretched and compressed, and have to be completely redone to look good.
