I'm currently molding the H4 Assault Rifle, but while I'm awaiting more supplies I started my M6H. I decided to ditch the styro foam this time and go all wood. Looking good so far I think...

Oh man, that's looking awesome. I think I might already be able to tell that you plan on adding a foam/rubber grip.
 
Filled in some cracks with wood filler, hollowed out the handle for the magazine, and rounded off the edges of the handle.

hello men i got a question do you use any pep file or some picture like refernce for do this????? is amazing your work
 
Almost done, added a lot of detail today. A couple hours of clean up and we're off to wet sanding. Should be ready for molding in a couple days.

Looks great. Been working on one of them myself. Be carefull if you mold it. If its not sealed properly that balsa may peel off in the mold. Good luck.
 
Finally finished molding! The ODST attachment was a pain in the neck, I had to do it twice, but I"m happy with it now.

The mag is removable and the slide is spring loaded.

Yes, the original was carved from balsa, the one shown in those last pictures is a plastic casting.
