This is a list of all events that take place within the Canadian Regiment throughout the regular calendar year (January to December).

I edited out any events that did not seem to involve any sort of cosplay component or welcomed the same.

All events have been broken down by province and are listed in order of month, with a legend for the different event types listed below.

Hyperlinks to each province, for ease of navigation (instead of having to scroll down the page), have also been listed.

Please feel free to contact me by PM if you have an event you want to suggest be added to the list.

ONTARIO (ON) CONVENTIONS & EVENTS

FEBRUARY:

Toronto ComiCon (CC Toronto): Located in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the show will be boasting unique exhibitors, presentations, workshops and many celebrity guests. Ad Astra (SF Toronto): Ad Astra is a literary fan-run convention, promoting local talent within the genres of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror and Paranormal, for all media of the written word. FilKONtario (SF Mississauga): Ontario's folk-ish sci-fi & fantasy music festival based on themes in science fiction and/or fantasy writing; or on the space program, modern technology, computers, cats, food... or just about any subject people in SF fandom like to talk about. OCTOBER:

Ochiba-Con (AN Oshawa): Ochiba-Con is an anime and japanese culture convention held in Oshawa ON, enriching the local community by providing education on Japanese culture, arts and films through special events. Ochiba-Con is a division of Northern Anime Festival. (http://www.ochibacon.ca/)

Ottawa Geek Market (CC Ottawa): The Ottawa Geek Market is a philanthropic company devoted to creating the ultimate cosplay, comic book, sci-fi, fantasy, steampunk, horror, anime and gaming shopping experience in the Ottawa region. The event was established with three main goals in mind: 1) to provide local geeky artisans, vendors and shopkeepers with an opportunity to sell their awesome items, 2) to celebrate the thriving geeky community in Ottawa in a fun and safe environment, and 3) to donate as much money as we can to local charities. QUEBEC (QC) CONVENTIONS & EVENTS

JANUARY:

G-Anime (AN Gatineau): G-Anime is an annual weekend anime convention held in late January in Gatineau, and is one of two such conventions in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Like most other anime conventions, it includes a Dealer's Room and an Artist's Alley, anime screenings, panels and workshops, AMV contests, game shows, cosplay events (Masquerade, Cosplay Chess, Fashion Show, etc.), and video game stations (Gaming Room). Otakuthon (AN Montreal): Quebec's largest anime convention promoting Japanese animation (anime), Japanese graphic novels (manga), related gaming and Japanese pop-culture (music, cinema, television).[SUP][/SUP] It is held annually for 3 days in Montreal during a weekend in the summer months. There aren't any conventions or events that we could find located in the territories.
 
Just a note, Fan Expo in Toronto, Ontario has been moved from August to September 3-6 to match the dates of the long weekend.

Same for me sadly I won't be attending as I'm on the west. If I were to go I'd totally stop by. I hope you have fun and your booth goes well and hope your able to meet others from here.
