Hey everyone on the 405th, my name is Nick Page aka "Cross Fire." I have been working on this project on and off for about a year now, hoping to get it finished for the MCM Comic Con in London this October and I thought I would upload the photos I have taken of the progress, let me know what you think and any helpful advice would be awesome, cheers.

Well to begin with I thought about making this suit since last June. Jun is my favorite spartan of the Noble Team because he is the sniper and that is awesome and always wanted to make his suit. :)

Before I even thought about making the suit I did about a months worth of research into how I was going to make the suit and how much It would cost and how long it would take, etc. Wanted to give a great thanks to Cereal Kill3rs work on the 405th, his tutorials on the process of making armor was immensely helpful. Link to his page (http://www.405th.com/member.php/30218-Cereal-Killl3r) would highly recommend watching his videos for any help in armor making.

I then gathered references of Jun's suit, also had the Square Enix figure with was a great reference to have on hand.

I Started off with the pep work on the helmet and then worked on the chest piece.

I then realized how bad the pep work of the helmet and chest piece was so I decided to remake them.

Re: Project: JUN - A266

Later on I fiber glassed the helmet & chest piece

I thought the result of the fiber glassing was better than what i expected some slight warping and pooling in areas but nothing too serious.

I set those aside for a while and worked on one of the biceps mostly because it would be the first time using p38 easy sand and if it went wrong it wouldn't be too bad. unfortunately i completely forgot to take any photos during the pep and fiber glass stage, but ill show what I did work on.

I built up some of the details with p38 (pretty much is bondo) and primed it and tested some base colours on it.

I then added on more detail onto it.

Then smoothed the surface, primed it and wanted to experiment with some paint. :)

Helmet Development ^^

This took the most time and I don't think its perfect but i needed to be done for now and going to hopefully perfect it and make a cast of it at a later date.

Firstly i added the first layer of detail to the helmet

The visor was a tricky part, I bought a motorcycle visor but it wasn't going to fit without breaking the shape of the helmet and i didn't want to make a helmet that was shaped around the motorcycle visor because most of the time they can look too wide, so i decided to make my own out of PVC plastic
I primed the first layer, added more detail and blocked out the area between the visor and the helmet.

A lot of sanding later..

Then I wanted to get some paint on it I then primed it and painted it.

And my favorite part finished the visor. :)

I then wanted to incorporate fans in order to reduce the fogginess of the visor and help venation
I remodeled out the two 'exhaust holes' I'm not sure what to call them and fixed a black aluminium mesh in the hole

I then fixed the fans on and a push switch for easy control

Thank you for comments guys :)

Update - Chest piece, I cut out the neck and arm areas in order to replace with foam later on for more move-ability and divided the front from the back following the design, where I think the actual chest piece would come apart. Then I primed and painted the pieces.

I reprinting the pep work for the neck and arm areas, used them as a stencil on some eva foam and painted it to match the distressed look of the armor.
