Good Morning 405th!

I've already got a thread going for my Daedric armor project from Skyrim, but this is separate. My question is regarding the armor textures on the armor components themselves. I've gone the fiberglass/Rondo route with this build, including a Nord Greatsword, but want to add that unique textured appearance to my armor but have no solid idea where/how to start. Just looking at the in-game images I see a 'metal-on-the-edges' kind of thing going on, but in between those pieces is a very intricate pattern. Open to suggestions & thoughts on this.

If you're going the bondo/resin route, you will have to build up the bondo in to the shape you want and sand it smooth, repeating as necessary to get the look you want. If you were doing the foam route, you could simply just slap a thin foamie on it and be done. lol

I just had a thought..might take a dremel tool and inscribe all the patterns on the armor itself, then when I go to paint it all, use a brighter color and airbrush those inscriptions.
