      405th Graphic Guidelines

The two official logos of 405th are shown here. The logo may NOT appear in any other style. Modifications are NOT allowed.

They are referred to as the standard and aged logos, respectively.

These are examples, NOT for web or print use.

      Color

The standard logo may only appear in the colors of gold, blue, black and white. The official color for the gold is PMS 7409C, and the blue is PMS 072C. Do not use a tint, a filter, or use a percentage of the PMS color codes. Any other color use is not allowed without written permission. The aged logo may only appear as a screen applied to the standard logo with written permission only.

Logos should not be altered in any way such as adding drop shadows, beveling, etc.

A request for the logos used in printed materials should be made to the 405th Brand Manager. Please do not scan or recreate the logo, as this may result in inferior quality.

The 405th Brand Manager protects the integrity of our logos by working with vendors to ensure that products bearing the 405th marks comply with Charter Rules and meet the standards that the 405th has established.

      Logos For Promotional Merchandise

All logos intended for use in the production of promotional merchandise are issued by the 405th Brand Manager. As a result, all requests for logos to be used in the production of promotional merchandise should be submitted to the Merchandise Representative via email to the Brand Manager.

The 405th Brand Manager will need the vendor name, contact name, contact information (phone, fax, email) and details of order to vendor. This information will be reviewed for fulfillment of the request.

Vendors providing services for 405th authorized members are not charged a licensing fee; however, they must receive written permission to use the logo in the production of merchandise. This written permission can be obtained from the 405th Brand Manager via Brand Manager.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION REGARDING THESE GUIDELINES, OR SUSPECT THAT THE GRAPHICS OF THE 405TH ARE BEING USED WITHOUT PERMISSION, PLEASE REFER TO THE FAQ SECTION BELOW

      OR

      EMAIL : 405th Brand Manager

      FAQ:

I think this should answer 99% of everyone's questions...

So do I, at least thats the idea.

      Who is the brand manager?

The Brand Manager is the person tasked with enforcing the guidelines of the 405th Graphics and Logos as defined on this page.

Am i allowed to make a personal sticker and put it on my armor?

Only with written permission are you permitted to use these logo in conjunction with printed materials. Written permission must be obtained from the Brand Manager before such use is permitted. If the item ownership is ever transferred to anyone other than the individual that obtained the permission, the logo must be removed before transfer of ownership.

I was wondering if i am allowed to use this as my desktop wallpaper?

Yes, you can use the 405th logo as your computer's desktop wallpaper, however your desktop computer must be for personal use, and the wallpaper is not to be "published" on any website, nor shared with others.

Can I use the 405th graphics in the form of click-able link or advertisement for the 405th on my personal website?

If you visit the 405th Forum, and like them, tell your friends! We encourage links to any part of the 405th web site. You may use approved 405th logos and graphics as outlined in the usage guidelines to make a link to our website following the banner,click-able link, and signature usage guidelines.

[Approved Link Graphics will be added by submission and request]

Can I use the 405th graphics in the form of an avatar?

No, using the 405th graphics in a personal avatar on the 405th forums, or anywhere else, can imply that you are representing the 405th, and as such is prohibited unless authorized in writing. The reason for this is that often avatars are linked to an individual homepage, or profile, which could be interpreted as that individual being a representative of the 405th. We apologize, but again, this form of use is prohibited.

What if I want a pic of my armor in the banner, can I do that?

No. At this time banner's and logo will not contain copyrighted images or material not created by the 405th, and as such be do not encourage the use of game images in the 405th banners and logos. If you have a banner you wish to be approved, you may email it to Brand Manager

What if I want my name (or gamertag/nickname) in the same graphic as the 405th logo, how do I do that?

You are not permitted to incorporate your gamertag/nickname into or over 405th Graphics and Logos, modification without prior submission and approval is prohibited.

Can I use the 405th in my XBox Live Gamertag and profile.

Your XBox Live Gamertag and associated images are meant to describe you, not the 405th. We ask that you refrain from using the 405th graphics and logos in those places. Listing the address of www.405th.com or 405th.com in your XBox Live profile is permitted, but merely as a means to encourage people to visit the site, All previous stated rules regarding product advertisement and personal associations with the 405th still apply. If you choose to place the site address into your XBL profile you will at all times act according to the rules and community standards of the 405th.
