Although we're glad that you got a computer in your room, this thread is completely pointless and is going to start some dispute. And I agree with colmon. Porn is something you definately don't want to get into.

Yeah, and being 13 means nothing... really it means you are more likely to... if you come back in a week or two and say "my crappy computer broke!" we'll know why... :p

When I was small I already screwed crap up on my PC, then I started finding out how I could repair them, I started playing around with dangerous system files and such and found ways to solve problems. You also have to admit defeat sometimes and google to fix the problem, I learn something everyday about my PC, and each time I think I know it all, theres almost another small piece of knowledge I pick up :)

Yup, If you are very experienced with a computer it's highly unlikely you will get virus'es.

I once totally owned someone on the Internet, they where trying to send me a file with a Trojan in it ( i noticed right away) so i send them my own trojan and took over their computer... i deleted his operating system... ZOMG! OWNED!!!

My mom found it on the family computer once, I was blamed. But it wasn't me.

It was some spyware that had lodged itself in my system folders and planted shortcut links to pornographic sites on my desktop. I don't know why they thought no one would ever know they'd be there...

I also found out dad was looking at teh naughties because I lost a picture in amongst the depths of my folder so I just did a search for .jpg's and found some naughty thumbnails in the cookies folders. I told mom haha.
