Hello everyone here at the 405th! If you are reading this, then that means you've taken time out of your day to stop and check on my humble little build-in-progress, and for that I thank you.
First off, a brief introduction. Hi! My name is Chloe, and I've been super obsessed with Halo for a very long time. I've always been interested in papercraft as well, and actually have been building paper models for several years now. I was first introduced to the idea of armor building a few years ago, when I went to a free comic book day event, and there where some guys from the 501st there in their armor. I chatted with them briefly, and when I got home, checked out the site. I was instantly drawn in by all the awesome armors people had built. I so wanted to build my own someday, but had no idea where to begin. Eventually, I stumbled across the 405th website while looking for at different papercraft models. I joined up immediately, and watched from the sidelines as people built fantastic suits of armor. I finally got the time and courage to attempt my own, and that brings us here to this post.
So, I originally began by starting an Agent Carolina build due to my love of Red vs. Blue (a build which is currently sitting off to the side begging me to return to it, and I will make a thread for it eventually). After struggling with that for a bit, I decided to attempt a different project. I originally decided to build a suit of Mjolnir Mark V armor, using the basic combat evolved files, and modify it to make it look more advanced after building it. I eventually scrapped that idea, but not before building and mostly resinning the helmet
What I decided to do instead, was to build the upper half (the helmet, chest, arms, and shoulders) using the Halo 4 multiplayer version of the mark V, and the lower half I would custom build myself. So far, I've begun on both the helmet and chest.

Chest Progress (stomach plate):
I'll be making updates as regularly as I can, and would love to hear any tips or suggestions anyone has!
