I'm wanting to get into armor building, as I'm planning on going into engineering after high school, and want to design armor/space suits for space exploration, as well as potentially combat. I'm planning on a Halo 4 Chief build, with cooling, a camelback, and pepakura armor that's mud glassed, and physically reinforced in whatever ways possible. I'm also wanting to potentially add respirator/gasmask filters, hooked up to an external air supply system (fans), to the helmet for added realism. Weight isn't too big a deal for me, I'm used to hiking with 30+ pound backpacks anywhere, from steep climbs, swimming through rivers and lakes, and just plain hiking. I'm also interested in the community here, and on the RPF, as it's been a great inspiration into my desires and future career goals, since I was 9.

I've nearly finished my EVA foam build of Noble Six from Reach. I've customized mine to incorporate more of a camouflage pattern on the armor which closely matches the clothes I wear underneath. I'll be posting some pictures soon, as I still need to complete a rifle and possibly a sidearm. It's been a long time working on this project, (over a year, but that's been off and on again over time).
