Hey Gang,

Another newbie here. Wanted to check in and say hi to everybody and looking forward to talking and/or assisting anyone if possible. Following the trend, here is my question list to tell you a little bit about myself.

Profession: Cash Operations for 3rd Party Logistics Company (Coyote Logistics), Veteran Infantryman

Favorite Hobby: Armor Smithing, Survival Training Hikes and Tactical Training
Favorite part of halo: The prospect that anyone could be part of the Halo Universe and any armor style goes
Favorite Halo: 5 (recently just started playing)
Favorite Video Game: Halo, MassEffect and Skyrim (again, just started playing Video Games)
Other Interests: I love teaching Tactical Skills (CQB, Range Survival, etc) to anyone who shows a talent for it.
Favorite Food: Steak, smothered in Roman God spices (literally made from Roman Gods)
Favorite Finisher: Boot to the Head
Favorite Band: Jazz and 40/50's era music
Favorite Movie(s): Top Gun, Conan the Barbarian, Highlander, Batman '89

Other Interests: I'm Canadian so I curl. I'm also a fairly good archer
Favorite Finisher: either GoW Curb Stomp or any of the Sangheili assassinations from Reach
Favorite Movie(s): like a lot of movies most recently. Dead Pool, Batman the killing joke, and most Movie/TV production I've worked on/for

Other: I joined last year and all I've really made is an ODST helmet that isn't fully completed yet, but I'm planning to do a full set of ODST armor.

Other: currently building mk VI and I also do allot charity work for Help the heros, 7 para RHA troops as well other military charities to help our soldiers when they leave force’s.

Goals: to build the mark V1 armour, go to cons, have fun
Just finished con season so now entering build season. I intend to take it slow so I might be on these boards for years making pieces.
Not sure if I will do a pep build or foam build (maybe both, lol)
Really looking forward to being able to walk and bend in a costume without armour bites.
Best advice to noobs - Breath mints and helmets are a very good combination.

Interested in creating a simple foam Spartan armor costume for my little boys. I always build their costumes each year and I knew one year would inevitably be a HALO guy so here we go. Just happy they did not request an Elite or Grunt. If it turns out ok I will eventually make one for myself.

Favorite part of Halo: Well... I know it will sound banal but, all of it I guess, with its Good and Bad aspects throughout the series.

Favorite Music: Rock, electronic rock, punk rock. Three days grace, Breaking Benjamin, Skillet, Egypt central and Hollywood undead are the ones I usually listen to.
