My Master Chief Mark Vi Armor

So i have one of the thighs for the 4 time pepped resined and glassed. Problem is now when i put my leg through it the area where my leg bends didnt come out the way i wanted and its putting pressue on my leg joint. Its also preventing the thigh from being pushed up any higher. Here are the pictures.





As you can see the outside surface of the thigh has actually flattened i do not think i can make the opening round anymore like its supposed to be. Any suggestions? I really dont want to make a new thigh.

Here is what i have thus far. Still need boot plates, cod piece which will end up being my third one because the first was too small, the second was the right size but warped. Lighting, strapping, and a pair of bootd for the boot plates. I also need to paint and finish glassing the torso piece.
