Covenant Cruiser is seen emerging from Slipspace Rupture



2. Camera looks out from trees as a young boy walks by

Camera (^) as boy looks up

Boy begins to cry and screams

Camera looks out from bush as boy runs past



3. Camera is on burning rubble

Camera on burning building

Camera looking up dusty street

Young boy runs down the street

Boy is caught in large explosion

Camera stays focused on the rubble

Camera cuts to boys burnt face

[Fade out]



5. [Fade in]

Camera following 3 marines up the dusty street

Smoldering corpses and rubble

Marine tactical chatter is heard

Marine: "Get Down!"

Banshee bomb hits the street marines go flying



4. Camera (^) behind rubble

Marines are seen taking cover behind sandbag

Sergeant Davis: "We need to get to that hog A.S.A.P! Solmundson give me some cover fire!" {Yelling}

Corporal Solmundson: "On it sir!" {Yelling}

Solmundson rolls from cover and begins firing Assault Rifle

Follow Cam on Davis

Davis vaults over sandbags towards dead marines and grabs a grenade

Davis blindly throws grenade

Davis: "Lets go Solmundson! Follow me!" {Yelling}

Davis sprints to the other side of the road as grenade explodes

Camera (<) following Davis

Davis runs towards the Warthog

Follow Cam on Davis

Solmundson enters the scene running behind Davis

Davis and Solmundson quickly enter the Warthog

Camera stops short and (>) as Warthog drives away

Camera on rooftop follows Warthog as it heads into the forest



5. Camera from flatbed looking into cab

Solmundson: "What the hell is happening!?" {Yelling/Tears}

Davis: "Its the Covenant... Looks like the dumb bastards finally found Earth..." {Sadness}

Solmundson: "Oh god! Its gonna be like Reach all over again!" {Panic}

Davis: "Pull yourself together marine! Radio out and see if you can locate any survivors!" {Stern}

Solmundson: "I'll try sir." {Trembling}

Radio static

Solmundson: "f*** they're dead! All of them! They're all f***ing dead!" {Panic/Hysterics}

Davis slams fist on steering wheel and curses under breath

Davis: "$#!T..." {Quiet/Anger}

Radio Static

Shane: "This is Private Shane Black! Come in! Corporal Solmundson is that you!? Come in!" {Panic}

Solmundson: "Affirmative Private! Where the hell are you!?" {Relief/Anger}

Shane: "Covies pushed us back to the lake! Their pressing hard. Hurry!" {Panic}

Solmundson: "Were on our way!" {Determined}

Solmundson signals for a u-turn

Camera from side of the trail as Warthog does a u-turn

Camera from flatbed looking into cab

Shane: "Hurry! I don't know how long were gonna last!" {Panic}

Solmundson: "Private Black is Kirk there with you!?" {Stern/Worried}

Radio Static

Shane: "Hurry {Static} they're {Static} coming! {Static}"



6. Camera facing up towards forest from lake shore

Marines taking cover behind rubble

Camera (>)

Marine is grabbed around the neck by an elite and stabbed through the chest

Impaled marines lets out a blood-curdling scream

Marine jumps on the elite's back

Marine: "You f***er!"

Marine stabs the elite in the neck repeatedly

Camera zooms in on the elite

Elite grabs the marine and throws the marine into sandbags

Marine disappears in a cloud of dust

Camera zooms out

Elite walks towards camera

Camera is parallel to the elite and marine

Wounded marine is crawling away firing pistol at the bleeding elite

Camera looking directly at the elite

Elite raises its Energy Sword

Warthog is heard

Elite turns head towards the forest just as the Warthog crashes through the bushes

Warthog heads directly towards the elite

Elite is splattered by the front of the Warthog

Sounds of grunts fleeing​
