The 9v batteries give me bright lights for about 3-4 hours. Then they start to dim. They will last about another 10 hours or so at the dim level. I want to extend the bright duration by switching to a 3v system.

Finally able to post in this epic thread to be able to thank you again Kevin for sharing this thread with us, as it has given lots of ideas and motivation as I work on my own armor! I love your photoshoots too! Keep up the great work.

Thank you Spitfire! Glad to hear that this thread is still motivating and inspirational. You can count on more photo shoots and as the weather gets warmer, more progress reports too.
Yes. Yes you did. I felt that it need to have something to go with those pink ears.
In reality its just pink paper lightly glued to the nose piece. Easier to remove.
OH my gosh now my cheeks are blushing PINK! LOL

I know! Another set of pics with a twist. Something that supports my local Hockey Team.
I present to you... The Canucks Chiefster Bunny!
I would have just made him the Canucks Chief but the bunny ears were still attached. I got lazy and forgot to remove them. lol
I think that he still looks cute yet menacing.

Yup... I got a bit carried away with the excitment. Hmmm need to remove those ears. Easter is sooooo over.
You betcha! --and-- Lovin every minute of doing it too! heheheh
I know! I would love to be with them and help them taunt the opposing team. GO! CANUCKS GO!
That's what happens when the Chief drinks a bit too much:
- Beer gut showing.
- Hunchback due to the beer gut.
- Woke up to find bunny ears and pink nose attached.
- Can't find his hockey stick
- Can't remember the game, the score or how this all happend?
