Hello everyone again!

So I have finally been able to begin working on one of my favorite characters, Colonel Mael Radec from Killzone 2! Ever since I first played the game his suit struck me as one of the most awe inspiring I've seen :D At first I had no clue on how to begin this massive project, so I asked a couple of commissioners online how much they would charge, which turned out to be way out of my pocket book lol....so after some searching it finally hit me! 405th must have some files on this dude. Sadly I turned out to be wrong :( and I noticed several posts (many that are dead) that have requested the Colonel but none simply had been answered. I later found my salvation: propzone. I sent them an email and was quickly responded with an amazing price quote on the entire suit (rly it was definitely worth it) and bam! the project was off. I would like to personally thank Rundown for his amazing modeling skills and Tribal for unfolding the awesome model for me, without your guy's help none of this would have been possible for me :p

So heres some Pics on how its coming along so far: http://s799.photobucket.com/albums/yy277/Svensk-Kejsare/Killzone 2/Colonel Mael Radec/ I would post pics in the Thread but Id prefer not to clutter it too much ;] Do check my other album of Killzone 2, a lot of reference art is hoarded there!

So far I've only peped the Neck pieces, and is working on the Respirator Device, everything else has been cutted out at least. Took two full days to cut everything =( left me with very sore hands and bleeding eyes lol

oh and its also my very first pep build! any comments&ideas is appreciated, and thanks for watching.

EDIT: Almost finished with the breathing device: http://s799.photobucket.com/albums/...l Mael Radec/?action=view&current=photo58.jpg, going to start on the Belt next ;]

Chest Piece update

Heres some pics on the Chest piece thats almost complete, the back side is missing some detail plus the inside along the neck needs a few minor things, the basic shape is done however ;] I know it has some minor bumps here and there, overall im rather happy with it (for being my first pep armor lol)

comments&feedback is appreciated!

NOTE: the pep model is just a basic frame, i am going to layer it with leather and foam to get the right shape after fiberglass/bondo step is done.

EDIT: sry for the double post aswell >.<

Thanks for the comments :) going to try and finish the belt when i get off work, does anyone know how i can sort of make the chest a little sturdier before resin/fiberglass stage?

Would love to see the Killzone 1 Helghan Assualt Rifle.....Or the machinegun.

I saw rundown work on a StA15 assault rifle among his projects thread, if i have enuff cash at the end of this suit i might commission someone to do the LMG like radec has at the end of the game =D

I know what you mean about learning the molding process.....And I haven't made a piece with bondo yet!!!!

resin took me a full 2.5 years to learn.

Yeah, im taking it slow when i do the resin/fiberglass part, i wanted to do the clay cast on the helmet but i already have the supplies to do the resin/fiber/bondo filling >.<

where did you get your files??

I'm gonna make a standard KZ1 riflemen when i finish my spartan
