So, here are some updates:
1. Gave the droopy eye a face lift-ish.
2. The mesh is a "demo" not sure I will really use it and the grill might go and will probably but metal rods instead.
3. Put in 1/2" end caps for support of the "hose", also drill some holes for wires.
4. Apparently I ran out of hardener and the resin, or some of it, did not dry all the way. Hence the wet look.
5. My secret weapon...
6. I had this idea a while back, just didn't find a cheaper option. Until I went to RS. For 50 bucks (i know it's a lot, better than 70 bucks).
7. I took it apart, took out the LCD, the camera and the IR LED's. Cut out the battery pack which fit snug in the back of the helmet and extended the wires to fit accordingly. This is because the eyes will be covered by EL tape which will glow red.

Now I am waiting for it to dry up, then find a way to fixate the camera (after resin hardens and I find tubing for the sides), insert padding which I found along with the mini fan which might go on top of the helmet near the vent. Then I need to find speakers and pretty much done with it, besides the painjob which I am still debating.

Enjoy
