There is the Halo Reach files thread, it's a sticky, the other stickies of course, Rhinoc's Reach file base, I'm not sure if that is a sticky but it does help, and the Halo costuming wikia.
Good luck and welcome to the 405th

I've heard that Ben Streeper's videos were excellent (not had a chance to watch them myself)
but i would say go through the stickies first.
also read through some of the threads in teh Creation Discussion forum and see how others are doing it.(how i learned)
In the end it will take a lot of trial and error, so don't get discouraged :)

Thank you everyone for your help, dont really know my way around the site yet, but finding a lot of cool info to get me started, thank you again "Mahalo"

Wow, Thank you for the help, definitely got me on the right track

There is no doubt you will still have questions. However, if you are serious about completing a costume, please consider joining the mentoring program. Here, experienced builders will be happy to provide one to one help with your build (Note that they will expect you to have studied the information in the
links provided above):
http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/...-Programme-2.0

When you post to that thread, give them some idea of what you want to do and they will assign a mentor that can help you.

Welcome to the 405th!
