Heres a few of my fave shots, to share.
This NCR ranger armor needs elite love. It looks spot on and started as plain ol' foam mats. We also need nice projects to compliment our own Mjolnir suits. A superb job Kommisar
Thank you so much Skullcandy!
I just wanted to say im sorry for any lude comments that may have previously slipped out.. I was only trying to state my opinion but it was interpereted through another context. Again I am sincerly sorry. Great job man, you deserve it!
no worries man, they didn't bother me, we're all friends here anyway!
speak of the devil, 100%. it is so hard to believe that that helm is pepped (well, the mask) everything looks amazing, the jacket looks welused (like a real ranger) the lights, the gauntlets, al the belts and straping, only "letdown" would be the jeans, they look too new for my liking, but seriously, other than thatm everything looks truly amazing, aight to behold.
i'm sorry you feel that way,
perhaps i should add some more wearing on the upper thighs, and some brown mud effects on the ankles?
but the actual jeans are pretty old, i've had and worn them regularly for almost five years, the only reason they got "retired" is the wife hid them for awhile, and 'un-hid' them when i was looking for some good old jeans that matched the color of the armor.
Yowza! I love the detail you managed to achieve with foam. What's your experience with costume building? I read in there that you have a few "preffered methods" of doing things, so I imagine you've got a few projects under the belt
i don't want to clutter the thread with my older projects, but i've got some experience with Sintra and styrene plastics with some warhammer 40k costumes ive made for myself and my wife,
as well as my SAW esq version of the arkham asylum scarecrow DC villain.
a gallery for that stuff would be at

i've been doing costumes in my spare time for i guess three years.
this year will be more busy though.
