@ Nick Nack - so envious! I am definately gonna buy some minicell foam and see what I can do when I have the cash, your work is amazing!

I check in to this thread every so often just to review the amazing work.. someday I am gonna have something amazing to show Nick Nack but until that day I am gonna drool over his work, and now Blackula's work too.

Wow a month? thats crazy. Time went by fast. It now just a month and a few days til Comic Con.
Im sorry I went so long with out any updates let me make it up to you guys.
cheap foam platform shoes
I love them. It feels so good to walk in. Adds 3 inches to my height.
I have really huge popeye style legs. I really need to stop pressing 1000. I had to scratch build the back of the shins.
I am not yet finish with the thighs. This is what I have at the moment
I finally glued the Knife to the chest.
The horn for the biceps is made from Styrene. I tried making it out of foam, but it did not come out as good.

You put perfection to SHAME! You are absolutely amazing, the skill and creativity you add to your peices is just...unbelievable!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading this thread and seeing what superb creations you come up with next. I do have a question though, I was planning on painting my armor black, that exact black to be precise. Is that a flat or carbon black? Again, thank you for showing such a treat to us, I'm more than sure we're all honored to have you here in the 405th. I know I am!!! And...maybe I might hit you up later for some more tips on my own progress. I'de love to have such a professional eye giving me advice and critique

Thank you for your compliment. If your going to make a all black Spartan Armor. I think you should spice it up some. Primary color flat Black Secondary color Extra Gloss Black. Now thats a sexy color combo. I really have not seen it done before in prop making, but just picturing it in my mind, its sexy. What do you think?

This foam build is what inspired me to do my foam build, and I too have muscular calf muscles that look weird above my 2 inch wide ankles.
