OK so I've been using a hot glue gun to keep my Elite WIP to stay together. I've recently came across resin at Michael's and the label says that it creates heat. My question is would the heat from the resin melt the hot glue causing my Elite WIP to fall apart? :confused

PS. I've never used resin before.

No, it shouldn't get that hot. You should stick to the instructions though. And use the right safety equipment.

I have had resin disintegrate glue, but it only happens in areas without much surrounding support. You just need to hold it together for a few seconds and its better.

For my first build, i used rubber cement. It turns out resin doesnt like that. Since then, I've ALWAYS used hot glue, and never had any kind of problem with resin (aside from my last batch, but that was due to bad resin, not anything else)
