I have some more shots for you guys...
Both sides got the same treatment. One good layer of plaster wraps, then on went some plaster.
Another layer of wraps on the flange then again, tied it in with plaster.

Ok. The mould, ehh mold however you wanna spell it, is finished.
YIPPO!

Heres some pics.
I drilled the four holes for the bolts, then seperated the two plaster halves.
Then I cut through the silicone in a wavy fashion to pull it off of the master.

Now on to the casting.

I'm casting them with Smooth-cast 300. It works great!

I had to try out this here new mold on the now plan sooooooo...

That is fantastic. If I knew I wasn't going to get stung at customs for it I'd order one of these beauties. Sadly just been done over on an ODST armor kit, so won't be buying anything from the states for a loooooong time.

Very professional looking work and when I start my own RC build (got to finish the IronMan MKIII first) this is exactly how I plan to do it, I'm going to subscribe to this thread just to make it easy for me to find when the time comes... Well done!

Thanks guys.

Heres one I've been messing with. It just got done raining and my lense kept fogging up.
All white, but beat up. Still needs the black and gray stripes in the back, a light in the spotlamp,
and visor needs lit some way.

Heres a picture of that helmet before paint.
All of the damage was done prior to paint and is indeed carved in for real.

Ohhh... and I'm at it again.
The chest and Back are from A1TD, and the unfold was done by Nintendude.
The pack was pulled buy Deadalus Thorn and I did the unfold.
