This is fantastic!! Best JFO build out there!
I love it!
I like the attachment as well.
What speakers did you use?
Thank you sir! I just used the 8-ohm radioshack speakers seen here. They're extremely small, but can crank out some pretty good sound. So far I haven't had a problem with them at all. The only sad thing is that I'm running them on a mono system instead of stereo, but I just had to do that for simplicity's sake.

Update time friendos! I've started work on my halo reach armor which I hope to look like this:

and have currently completed the shoulder add-on and the forearm. I've also found some old H3 handplates which I'll just repaint and use for the reach suit because I'm too lazy to make new ones and also they look better than the reach ones. Shoulder + forearm go!:

Now something that's actually completely finished, my knife and knife sheath. I had the knife finished before, but I needed to paint the details blue to match the blue stripes on my helmet, and needed to sand down the blade to fit the sheath. Sadly, even with the sanding, the sheath still slightly rubs against the blade and rubs off some paint. Not much I can do, I've tried resanding and repainting 3 times. It's looks great nonetheless, just a little blemish. Knife + Sheath:

And finally me just trying everything on!

Been Wrestling since I was 6! Anyways, thanks a lot, just got done with the forearm attachment today, and I'm just keep on trucking.

Firstly, thanks! And secondly, A friend of mine helped me wire up the helmet, but the basic circuit for the amplifier is here if your techy enough:

I'm currently working on a parts list, but I probably won't get it done till this weekend, and then I can also explain the switchery and the wiring of the helmet itself. Just stay tuned!

awesome job, cant wait to see the rest of the suit coming together, but can i recomend a look at the scaling for the forearm? it looks just a tad small for your arm, but really great work!

Ya I was thinking it looks a little small myself. I'll probably end up rescaling it say 2 or 3 cm longer, I just hate to do something 3 times over.

I've never really had too many problems with it and just never took the time to upgrade :/ If it ain't broke don't fix it. I might get some more pics of the knife up for Realtortommy later tonight / tomorrow morning. Also a big win today, I got my girlfriend to help me out cutting out pepakura pieces :D And thanks for the complements as always, they really keep me motivated!

Edit: New pictures inbound. A side-by-side shot of new and old, as well as some new knife photos, including the stand I made for it. Just to let you know, I messed up on one side of the knife while painting, so I created the backstory that it saved my life from a bullet and it has some battle scars. And if anyone wants to comment on my bedsheets, don't forget how real a wooden knife can feel XD

Random, but cool! Anyways, not too much going on here, I did finish up two different paintings for my art class though. Thought you guys might like that, as well as the finished bicep peace:

Updates oh updates, where have you been? Well, I'm happy to say I finally have something to show today! I finished the chest piece, along with the stomach plate, and now that I have that out of the way, everything pep-wise should be downhill. Also in here is the inclusion of me trying it on with other pieces, and a loosely gears of war based clay-sculpt that I have painted. Up next is to redo the forearms, and finish the other shoulder piece. Sorry for the semi-bad quality, I couldn't find my good camera today. Hope you guys enjoy!

Stay Tuned!

Finished the collar breacher attatchment, both shoulders, and rondoed the chest and shoulder add-ons. Also trimmed the sides of the chest to make it much easier to slip on. As always, enjoy!

Hey, nice build dudeman! I'm interested to see how you're gonna mount your ODST shoulders... Also, I just wanna see how this turns out.

Thanks Roxy! I have to give credit to my electrical engineer friend who really helped it come together. He's the one who designed the amp circuit in the first place, and is my go-to guy for electronics. Also, I love your build! It keeps me inspired to finish up my suit when I see so many great ones nearing completion.

Thanks as well! As for the ODST shoulders, if you look back in my thread you'll see how I mounted the visor. I'm thinking about doing a similar mount with the shoulder-addons, using the screw and post method. Or heck, I may just JB weld it on. :p
