Hi guys. Been awhile. Lots of life happened the past few weeks. (And okay I got hooked on playing the Mass Effect trilogy and marathoned through all 3 games. I may have to do an N7 armor build.)

Just an update on the project. I've finished what I've wanted to for the armor pieces for now. I fixed up the pieces so they fit a bit better. (Still need to get sponges for the Helmet. But in good time.) I just finished prepping the foam pieces with PVC glue and should be painting them next week.

Here's everything drying.

I'm so excited that everything's coming together! I'll be able to make it to AnimeFest up in Dallas with this.

First coat of paint. I'll need to get more paint for more coats.

Pro tip: Don't leave hot glue pieces out to dry in 100 degree weather. :B LOL.

I've decided to go with a more outrageous shade of PINK. I've even got a shade of glitter.


The chest piece or shoulder will have some kind of decal. I tried it with a stencil, but it didn't work. I'll have to paint it by hand.

Also my hands hurt from those spray paint cans. I have wussy fingers.

Well I've finished it as much as I care to at this point. The helmet visor tends to look a bit crooked...:/ I'll probably keep tweaking here and there. But the Spartan p
