HAHA Shockwaves-...talking about myself in the 3rd person (duh im a dork)

Hey guys

I've been wanting to transfer the build process of my Warrior Armor for a while now but never gave my self the time to move all my photos. I'm not going to do too much explaining for each individual photo since there will be so many, in the hope that they can speak for themselves. I want to thank StonyProps (JIM & Daniel) for the inspiration of this build along with supplying the helmet. Ok here we go, please be gentle lol. Im so proud i was able to pull it off in just under 4 months that now i know what i have to do for the next project to make it that much better. Any questions at all please feel free to ask. And that's my costume. FYI the Helmet is from StonyProps-I did the paint job for the entire armor and helmet. Battle Rifle was purchased as is at MegaCon in Orlando.
Thank you 405th community for being freakin Awesome... and i can't say it enough but thank you StonyProps for inspiring me.

Wow! That look really good - and the paint matches the BR perfectly!
...oh, campaign colours as well!

I did a similar thing, basing mine of that particular Stony build - and was wondering if you had any of the same difficulties as me...
Did you find the back thrusters to be a bit oversized?
Or find the shins a really odd shape?
Or the gauntlets were only just big enough to fit a hand through?

that's just outstanding! especially it's a scratch build. I really love your idea on making the hexagonal patterns on the visor. no offence but the thing that bugs be is the huge pods behind. Other than that you really did a great job

Lol yeah I def over sized them. I didnt mean to it just happened that way. I was going to redo it but I didnt have enough time before Miami's Supercon... my next build wont be in such a rush so hopefully I can size everything right. Otherwise thanks for the input and comments. It makes me wanna keep doing this and just pushing myself to get better \M/(^_^)\M/

I def would say the thruster did come out oversized. But im digging how it gives the armor a bulky look when I wear it. Next time they wont be as big tho.odd shapes npt really because any piece or part I had trouble with.. I would just create a shape that I liked for instance the knee armor on Daniels build I believe his are attached directly to the bottom of the thigh armor... mine are a different design and are attached to the thigh also but with a piece of strap so it falls right in between the thigh and calf armor like it should. Alot of my armor is not game accurate but thats fine because I wasnt going for perfection this time around lol. The gauntlets I made to the shape of my forearm so they fit pretty well. Trust me tho I have a huge list of thing I WONT be doing again on my next build lol... this was def a good learning curve for me.

So the previous version of the back piece was just way too big. Remade the back piece and gave the whole armor a new paint job.

Exactly. for just about everything i used a hot knife. Any parts i cut with just a regular blade and came out rough looking, then i would dremel the edges for a cleaner look.
