Titanfall I.M.C. titan pilot (Foam/Pepakura)

So this is going to be a huge and long update so let´s get started right away! Let´s begin with some trivial things like this - last week I ran out of fiberglass resin so I had to resupply and while I was in the shop I also bought two more respirators just in case. But now that I think back I should have bought some fiberglass cloth too cause it looks like that the amount I have won´t be enough... damn. xd Also I checked out some other shops too or to be more specific, shops which sell sports equipment. And why I did that? Well if you read my previous update where I mentioned my idea of attaching the shins to football/soccer shin guards the I guess you already know why. But before that I did some more research and I came to a conclusion that it would be a pretty good idea and I won´t have to screw around with straps plus I don´t have to be afraid that the shins will easily fall off thus it would also prevents that I would have to always check them out just to see if they are in the right place. Yeah it is still just a theory but I believe that it will work. Other than that well the leg panel and the pouches finally arrived and thankfully they are really great. The leg panel is allright but the only thing I have to remake is the part where it is attached to the tactical vest. Even though both are MOLLE but for some reasons the fixture on the leg panel is different. The pouches are goood but I think they are a bit too big. So don´t bother telling me that cause I know it and when I checked the pouches on a sticker it said - "SMALL". So I guess these are the smallest I can get. xD But don´t worry I will try to make thme look a bit smaller. And like always I did a test fit to see how the "undersuit" looks now. Yeah those pouches look weird but other than that it resembles the original pilot suit. I actually took some pictures with the R-101C carbine too just to show you how big or long it is. The gun barrels are still missing though. Still I think it´s just about the same size but then again it was reall hard to make since Respawn entertainment didn´t bothered to give us weapon specifications or actually anything at all. -___- But hey I made some comparision pictures. They are not the best but I think they should be allright. Ok so now let´s move onto some actuall progress shall we? I worked a bit on the carbine like adding some "details" and adding the trigger. I also "filled up" the inside so the only thing that remains before glueing the whole base together is just finding some PVC pipes whic is gonna take a while. xD But it´s allright I still ahve time till Anime Show 2015 in march. The I started working on the Data knife. Right now I have the base ready but saddly I will start adding details later when the whole armor is complete. Next I remodeled the back "claws" or whatever they are... you know those things on the boots that stick out. xD Now they are much smaller but I still have to add some fiberglass cloth on them to make them even harder and less likeable to break, And lastly I fiberglassed some more pieces. Another weekly update incoming! This time it´s gonna be a bit shorter compared to the previous one, but anyway let´s begin! I spent my time mostly continuing to fiberglass the remaining armor pieces. As you can see on some pictures at some places I added three layers of fiberglass to make them more sturdy. Also I remade the front boot "claws" or more like I made it smaller and "remodeled" it to make it look like the ingame model. I think it´s allright plus this is the maximum I coud cut it down. Lastly I scratchbuilt the left shoulder armor. There some minor flwas in there but like I always say I will fix them later during the bondo stage. Anyway that would be all for this week I guess. It´s that time again so let´s get right into it! First off this is going to be another short update because I spent the week mostly working on my new V3 pepakura tutorial. It´s in slovak so I think it would be meaningless posting it here, if you catch my meaning. xd But I will be focusing more on that than on my armor since there is no pepakura tutorial in slovak (if we don´t count my previous two) and I think I might be the only one actually using this method of making cosplays! But anyway let´s get back to my armor right now. I made no progress on the armor but I finally found some PVC pipes which are just about right but saddly I did not have enough so yeah I still gonna need some for the third "gun barrel". I also had to remake the inside of the gun a bit but hey! Nobody really cares about the inside, it´s the outside that matters! xD And well that would be all I actually did this week, It´s not much but - Enjoy!​
