This is looking really awesome dude! It really does stink that Respawn doesn't have a proper amount of details for their game's lore. By the way you are AMAZING at cardboard features! In the beginning you put them all over the helmet and inside, is that for rigidity and strength or mostly so you don't have to add details extravagantly later?

Thanks mate, I really appreciate it! Well its is just like you said - I use cardboard for strenghtening and to add details or atleast most of them cause I really suck with bondo. xD

[Update no.44]​

Time to update this build too! So first off I repaired the broken antenna, yep it´s notthe nicest looking but it´s ok. Then I made some...well...parts and also coated them with fiberglass resin. xD I don´t know their name so I just call them "parts". I guess right now I should have everything except one small part, but that one will be made later since it´s not THAT important. IF everything goes right I will do a small test fitting/fitting test or whichever is right jus tto see how it looks like now. Anyway enjoy the pictures!​

Damn I keep forgetting about updating this thread. :X Oh well, better late than never right? Anyway all I did was adding some details onto the blade of the Data knife. Yeah it´s not much...​

[Update no.46]​

I guess I have everything now or more like every single piece of the pilot armor except that "arc reactor" like thing in the middle of the chest which means it is time for a "Test fitting" or "Fitting test" (I don´t know which one is the right way to say it) except there is just too many parts and I can´t put every piece on myelft! I might try to come up with some other solution, but until then I will keep working on the guns.​

I will mention, however: try to not multi-post in quick succession. If you've a post to add within, say, twenty-four hours of the last one, consider editing your previous post instead. There's very little point to bumping your thread again seven or eight minutes after the last entry.

Good luck on your continuing build!

I like it that way cause it looks neater and also it´s not for "bumping" purposes.

Arg! I want to see more of your rifle! I'm building one too and to my knowledge there there are only 4 r-101c's. 3 in the making and 1 finished. there's mine, yours, TheBearMan's in the making and nick brick's completed Lego model.

I don't know of any others but if you or anyone else knows of other ones tell me, I'd love to see what others did.

I´am focusing more on the armor right now! Well there is actually one more from Hectec Design on Facebook and I think that´s probably all of the R101Cs either WIP or Finished.

Yeah I've seen it but I guess forgot about it mostly because it's a repaint of an airsoft gun. It's an impressive paint job and he selected a good look alike base but it's no scratch build tough. Nevertheless this guy paints way better than I can.
