I have spent many weeks reading, scaling and collecting pepakura files from the database but finally I have gained the confidence and knowledge to create my first serious set of fiberglass armour with integrated electronics. Ive also got access to a professional tailor so I'm thinking a custom undersuit might be in order and plans for that are still in production.
The chest armour extension will be a modified HP/HALO chest without the grenades.
So far I have pepped out the buckler, handplates, helmet, CNM and most of the chestplate.
Anyway time for some pictures :D

Here is the Vanity plan for what the suit will look like.

That's all for now but there is plenty to come.

Thanks :D My plan is to have it done by the end of the year but hopefully a lot earlier, I just hope Ive scaled everything alright...

I made the assassination knife and I am now working on its sheath. It was truly a massive pain...
Work on the chest plate is nearly done, just got most of the harder pieces on the back to go.

Well Alkatraz, I am gonna give you a gift. It is all my emblems and other decals from Reach for waterslide decals for my Reach EOD Armor. Everything shoul dbe scaled to fit and is a pdf and you can print it on waterslide decal paper or on vinyl. your choice. Waterslide decal paper you can print at home and clear coat with krylon clear cut and apply then clear over.

Finished the abdominal plate and the sheath for the combat knife, I'm now working on little chest panels and finishing up the chestplate itself.

Really difficult, I'm still thinking of how I am going to resin everything and rondo the inside but I'm sure I'll manage.

If I may suggest: shore the outside up temporarily with popsicle sticks or something similar - brace the outside to ensure there won't be any sag or flex.

After that, mix a SMALL batch of resin, create a small hole in the back of the hilt, and then pour your resin in. If you're careful and rotate your model evenly you SHOULD get a nice, even coating on the inside without warping or sagging. Rondo may also work if you can make it liquid enough to slush about without difficulty.

Ok thanks, I'll make sure to do proper bracing when I get to the resin stage on it. I'd hate to mess it up considering how much of a pain it was to make.

Well I tried a new pepakura model to use for my handplates but found that they would be too hard to make that way so Ive decided I'll just make them from foam.

Finally got the right forearm done. Here's also a pic of the front panel on the chest plate.
