Thanks Gray!

M...I know, I know... Time hasn't been my best friend lately. Also, with the release of Destiny, I have even less. I do however, have a couple of pics of me holding the master knife.

Also, I have a couple of kits that I can sell at this point.

I'm going to post this up in the Marketplace soon. However, if you can't post there yet and would like to purchase one, please send me a pm and I'll get you the details. :D

Knife looks great in the hand. Now i understand the holes in the handle lol.
Thanks for the pics

No problem! M, As you requested in my Marketplace thread for the knife, here's the reference pic that I'm using as a guide to wrap the handle.

Also, here's a VERY quick wrap job I did on a handle just to get a feel for the size of the material.

I am interested. I am willing to buy, but I am willing to do a trade also. I'm working on my Hunter cloak right now. Is there any fabric related thing I could trade you? Maybe a legendary cloak? :D

Outstanding! I'd be honored to have one of my knives be a part of your epic Hunter build! I'm sure we can work something out. I'll send you a pm and we can talk about the particulars, if that's cool with you! :D

Those castings look fantastic, dude! How'd you manage that marbled effect so well? Looks like it's actually in the castings, very close to the detail on in-game render.

Thanks very much Spartan! That's because it is in the cast! With the two halves of the mold laying out flat, I mix up a small batch of dark colored resin, then spread it sporadically over the mold, then let it cure, and put the two halves together, last I mix and pour the lighter color in. There you have it, a two tone knife ready for cleanup and handle wrapping. :D

Kewl! Thanks for sharing your process. I've only ever worked with one-piece, open-backed molds so I've never tried that sort of thing before.

I was thinking with them done that way, all one would need to do is remove the pour spouts then wrap the grip, no painting required. Obviously, that's what you were thinking too, lol.

Good job, man. If money wasn't so tight at the moment, I'd definitely be interested in grabbing one of these up ;) I'd be more for one like the top one, with a little less marbling.

I'm sorry, I guess I also should have asked what it is called :$, is it a ribbon of some sort?

It is a ribbon. Here's what it looks like.
