Hi everyone!
I'm new to the show here, and I have a few questions about materials and painting.
1: Linked is an image of my ODST helmet (bought through Armory Props). I have a black base coat on it and was wondering how to get a dark steel look to it.
and also how to tint the visor.

2: Also linked is an image of an M7 Caseless SMG I made out of EVA Foam, card stock and pipes. I want to make a new version of it with working parts, i.e; retractable and lockable stock, movable foregrip, removable clip.
And again, how to get that dark steel look of the gun.
