Im having a tiny bit of trouble making the sides even. Im going to keep trying and never giving up. Any suggestions?

You can make a template to mirror on side to the other. Little layers at a time make things alot easier to sand out and even out

The sides look pretty even. glazing putty really helps with the imperfections.

I've been following this project via FB too. I have to raise drinking horn, hail and toast! You'r patience is something incredible! :D

everything so far is looking smooth and even. Its not a bad job for being my first real bondo build outs

These 2 little build outs are almost complete. Blackula727 is my motivation of the design.

looking good. did you fiberglass the inside of those buckets? I didnt see any comment about it. I guess my concern is if you didnt the buckets strength is going to take a serious hit. Only other suggestion is the pieces you dont have resin on. I would suggest sooner than later if you dont have them stored in an area that is environmentally controlled. exposure to humidity to dry are will cause the paper to start to warp on its own so the sooner you get resin on to lock them down the better.

The helmet is taking shape. The top is looking really good only a few more tasks then the top is complete

Thank you sir, I've been working very hard and endless hours on it.

I did the best I can to make everything look as even as possible. the design I did with the bondo will look fantastic with the paint. NOT A BAD JOB FOR MY FIRST HELMET IM TAKING MY TIME WITH.

This was easier then I thought it would be. Patients is needed for stuff like this. But It turned out to be exactly what I wanted it to be
