Hello everyone.
I've been lurking about the forums for a couple of months now gathering intel and studying builds. I think it's about time I posted about the build that I'm working on.
I have a lot of work cut out for me, but I want to try to get this done for Dragon Con 2015.
What I'm doing: Building a Mk V. suit for me, and a Mk V. suit for my Fiance.
I've gathered the files necessary (I think), unfolded them (only 1 or 2 files were unfolded to my standards...sort of), and I'm currently working on sizing.

Parts: His:
Helmet: Mk V.
Chest: Mk V.
Bicep: Mk V. Sized
Shoulder: FJ/Para (Left & Right) Sized
Accessory: N/A (at this time)
Forearm: Mk V.
Hand Plate: Mk V. Sized
Cod: Mk V.
Thigh: Mk V.
Accessory: UA/NxRA
Knee: Mk V.
Shin: Mk V.
Boot: Mk V.
Color: Sage/Cobalt/Black

Parts: Hers:
Helmet: Mk V.
Chest: Mk V.
Bicep: Mk V. Sized
Shoulder: FJ/Para (Left & Right) Sized
Accessory: N/A (at this time)
Forearm: Mk V. (maybe modified Kat)
Hand Plate: Kat Plate
Cod: Mk V.
Thigh: Mk V.
Accessory: Tac / Hard Case
Knee: Mk V.
Shin: Mk V.
Boot: Mk V.
Color: Sage/Maroon/Black

Unfortunately, Vanity doesn't have female renders, so I only have mine to post:

My current intention is to use different materials for different parts, and sometimes multiple materials for individual parts. EX: Heel / Toe / Ankle I'm planning on making from steel. Thighs I'm planning on making from Pep and Foam. Handplates from Steel and Foam. Knees from Steel and foam. Cod from Foam (maybe some pep tossed in)

We're also going to make under suits starting with Compression Clothes, and adding pieces (probably Marine grade Vinyl). The under suit will be two part (Top / Bottom) to make it easier to go to the bathroom. Also to make it easier to DON / DOFF, I'm going to try to make all parts removable in any order (if you want the thighs off, but not boots, then shins, then thighs...)

Added to all of this I'm getting back into working out, and adding a bit more definition to my own musculature.
Updates will probably be slow. We have a wedding in March, so that and building some improvements on the house are taking priority right now, but hopefully this thread will keep me working on it.

Thanks for taking a look.

Hello there everyone.
Small update.
I got one of the hand plates pepped, and found it to be a bit small.

So I've re-sized it in Pep Designer, and I'm on to the next piece: FJ/Para Shoulders.

Thanks for taking a look.

Sorry for the double post, but I got one of the shoulders pepped.

These first peps are all for sizing. As usual, I took measurements, pepped, and found the piece to be a bit small.
I re-sized, and I'm on to S-426's hand plate.
