Vacuum Forming question(s)

I recently saw a thread by Agent Alaska (http://www.405th.com/f19/agent-alaska-h4-armor-odst-re-design-tekka-croe-43240/) who had an impressive vacuum formed build and I was wondering where you all get your plastic sheets for vacuum forming? And how much do they cost?

Best thing is to buy them locally. They are usually found at a plastic supply warehouse. Just do a quick google search for one. The price can range depending on the thickness and measure of the plastic sheets.
I don't remember the specs of the plastic I bought (it was 2+ years ago) and I think I paid about $30-$40 for a large amount.

I ran around all day checking Lowe's, Home Depot and Michael's & I didn't find a thing except some Plexiglas. I'll have a look online for a warehouse near me, Thank you. I saw on ebay that they sell the sheets for about $4 dollars but only for a few sheets, if I can't find any locally I'll just order those online.

What is the actual name of the plastic sheets I should be looking for? Polystyrene?

I believe it was called "PETG" and "ABS" plastic. Which is a type of polystyrene.

Okay, I've located 2 plastic supply dealers in my town and will check them out tomorrow.
Today I found some thin Plexiglass at Hobby Lobby (could totally use it as a visor), so I'm going try and vacuum for with that first.
