Hey everyone, after the great joy of making an ODST costume for glasgow comic con 2014, i set a more ambitious goal for this years event. I will be attempting to make halo 4 custom multiplayer spartan armor. Thanks impact props for making templates for thighs, forearms, shins and boots.

Armor:
Helmet - Mark VI
Body - Mark VI
Shoulders/biceps - Rogue
Legs - RG-63
Gauntlets - Twin plated

Colour - undecided

All armors listed are the halo 4 multiplayer lobby permutations apart from the knees which are master chief's from the halo 4 campaign.

Please make criticism as i would love to know where improvements could be made. Thank you

First steps

Looking good.

I too am based in Glasgow, was going to the Comic Con last year but I got called into work. :(

Can't wait to see this progress.

More progress :) im really happy with the way the whole shin section looks along with the master chief's knee design

Excellent job on your armor so far!
What have you been using for glue to keep the foam together?
You cant beat hot glue. I tried using contact adhesive for some of it but i wasn't pleased with the results - i suppose its just down to personal preference but definitely prefer hot glue.
Also thank you very much for the kind words.

I've made a start on the chest piece and after a few failed iterations I'm happy with the version i am currently working on. I've based it as best as I can on the mark VI model from the halo 4 multiplayer lobby and gives me almost full mobility :)

The finished Armor was tested recently at Manchester comic con, it proved to be a great success
