first time making armor and i have a month on the clock!

Hello all, so i have an anime convention I'm going to within the month and have already started to build my halo armor
I just looking to update as i go from here, along with, maybe some feedback?







- toying with the visor just cause lol

- Bondo'd and getting prepped for paint.

- First set of paint!

Good luck getting all that done within a month. You might wanna consider doing all the pep then resening it. Then maybe skipping bondo its really time consuming just a thought good luck. All the pep work look really good

Update - sorry no picture till tomorrow, I have resin on everything, fiber glass on most, bondo will be going on tomorrow night.
also i have 11 days till the con starts, cutting it close

Too close, I'd say. I'm sure your costume will look fine, but I'd strongly urge taking your time and making a good product, rather than trying to push something out of the door half-complete.

Best of luck with getting your set done, and maybe refining it in the future, though.

Armor is looking good, but i will have to agree with Chernobyl on the whole taking your time thing. The only reason i say that is because my first suit was kinda rushed and although i was very happy with it, there were things i missed and didnt have time to do to it. But honestly dont stop plugging away at it as fast as you want because some of us say you shouldnt. Everyone is different and some people like working super fast
I look forward to seeing more pictures and i hope you get it done by the convention

Udate - everything has fiberglass and resin on it - bondo will start tomorrow. paint before thursday hopefully?

Update -Bondo is on a few parts, sanding is happening, paint soon (2 people doing this part so its going by pretty fast now!) - picture of the helmet with no paint is up/not sanded.

Well,
While i wait for it to return from CT to NM via mail I'm going to get all the parts ready for a cooling system, a Light set up and a mic/speaker so i can actually be heard when i have my helmet on. Ill also be adding some straps to the parts because safety pins and Duct tape aren't the best along with a not rushed paint job. So plenty to do and way more time to do it. lol

Well done mate. A build in a month is a great achievement. Now you have all the time in the world to perfect your design.
