Yeah, I started of using Andrew Cooks too. As I got into it a little more I started to figure out how to template. Then i was able to just go off of reference pictures i had grabbed.

oh yeah, before his videos, I couldn't glue two piece a foam together if you gave me an instruction manual.

Did some more painting and weathering on the piece to really get it looking nice. Even added my regiment tag.

Wow looks great! I was planing to do something similar. I was wondering to, what templates did you use and what program did you use for scaling it?

I went super low tech on this. I just printed out the images using word of all things, in really nice high rez color. then i pasted the whole thing with a thin layer of super glue and slapped it on the armor. after that I added weathering to it to help it blend in. super easy. just make sure every little inch of the paper has glue on it so the whole things sticks. then at the end "paint" some super glue over the edges and hold them down to make sure they really stick.

UPDATE: The armor is completed! I still need to make the helmet, and id like to have a bigger gun. Maybe a rocket launcher, or sniper rifle, anyway. Enjoy!
