A Noob's Perspective at creating a Locus Pepakura Helmet

So as the title already says im not that good at Pepakura I Think it's not horrible but it's also not really Great !


In the Following Days i'll upload Pictures of the Process i am making

a Special Thanks to Spacemeat for Inspiring me to finally start a Thread on the 405th ♥ ☻

dude your not bad your great at pepakura keep going and you may have pepakura in the bag

I havent been making this much Progress today but i thought i'd post it anyway So here you go :

So what i have added was basicly just this part :



And yes i've noticed that something does not seem right with the right cheekpart ;D

It looks a little small. Is it supposed to fit your head, or just be a display piece? Other than that, it's looking really good.

Yes. It's gonna be just a display item, also given by the odd visor shape as im not willed to vacuum Form this visor ! .

That's really clean pep work! Hard to tell what's up with the right cheek, got any larger/closer shots of it?

looks like you're preserving the detail wonderfully, the edges and symmetry are looking great as well. Where'd you get the idea you weren't good at pep? keep it up!

I've made the other cheek today so as i got this side to side comparison you can clearly tell that i was a little bit confused while building the right cheek ;D

Thats how it should look (left Cheek)


And thats the right cheek !

Your ODST Suit looks crazy good and i'd love to work with Cardboard too! Currently im working on 3 Pepakura Helmets( This one and 2 ODST's) but i want to try the Cardboard Technique aswell.

So as i mentioned earlier today i've finally build the second cheek part and now the only thing left to do is the "Jaw" ;D

I Also noticed i've turned the little thing behind the "ear" parts the wrong way on one side :behave:facepalm

Other than that im happy with the Helmet beeing nearly completed !
