After reading several threads I decided to give it a try. It took me 4 months, but here is my unpainted armor. Thank you to everyone that posted information on the foam files and recommendations.

nice build and yes i agree w/ Big John, clean lines.......I would also go w/ gloves of some type. Just to cove the exposed skin. Are you doing boots as well?

Super cool! N7 armor is so slick. You definitely pulled it off. I agree with the gloves idea. Something slender would match the suit I think, but you wouldn't go wrong with armored mechanics gloves either. Are you going with the black/grey/red color scheme for painting it?

This is a very solid build, I really do like how it looks alot. If you're looking for some more recommendations as far as gloves are concerned, I've found that these http://www.amazon.com/Valken-Finger-Plastic-Airsoft-Gloves/dp/B00EPW8W6I are quite breathable but also give a nicely armored look. Hope this was helpful!
