Is there a cheap throw away mold method that I could use for just one cast as I only plan on making one helmet for my self. this sculpt is made with NSP Chavant clay witch is non
drying oil based clay. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Off hand I don't know of a way. However if you go the normal route you could always make two and send the other one off to pay for the products you used.

Liquid rubber from craft store should cost about $ 12-$24 dollars /bottle and plaster bandage for the outer shell. That would be t cheapest way to go.
