Santa brought my son this gigantic Chief last Christmas. The size and detail on this thing are exceptional, but the paint is nonexistent and it hides so much detail they put into it.
For a refresher, it looks like this originally.

So, I gave the visor definition, painted it Gold/Orange and layered it with a clear coat.

Then, I gave the body a black wash. Followed by a silver dry brush.
And finally, I used a matte black on the undersuit parts (hands) that were all-green plastic.

There's still a few touchup areas and spots that I missed, but this thing is going to end up being an eye-catcher when you walk into my room... Or I mean, my son's room.

Oh I have the same one . Ive also been * very * tempted to paint him.
Yours looks amazing!!!
Any plans for mini props for him?
I ended up making a magnum for mine for his hip.

Well, I hadn't considered that. That's a fantastic idea. Magnum and maybe Grenade.
Although, you probably printed one out in 1:3 scale. That's the way to go.

That's a pretty cool looking mini chief, and some other weapons for him would be cool
