I thought I'd share some images of my first full costume that I completed back in September (I've been swapping out bits and pieces since then to make it more accurate). I just got done with my second con wearing this thing last week and had such a blast. Unfortunately I didn't grab any WIP images so you'll just have to settle for the finished thing. Would love to get your opinions.

Updated version (October). I bought petzl carabiners and made a new grenade pouch and new leg pieces. I also added a speaker attached to the belt to allow people to hear me a little better, but this didn't work as well as i'd hoped. I'm in need of a better solution for that.. I also broke the sword somehow and now it won't come out of the sheath. I even bought a 3D model of the gun he uses, but it's not printable and I don't have the expertise to turn it into a printable model. I didn't have time to test the new leg pieces before the con, so by the end of the day my legs were wrapped in duct tape... whoops.

This photo made it into the local papers :D

There's little bits and pieces I could add to the costume to improve it still, but i'm happy with the look overall. I've just got to work on some better poses :)

Is your whole costume expensive? I quite like the look. Very similar to the series. And, how'd you make the mask?

Thanks! I probably paid more than I should have for such a costume, as I tried my best to locate the actual parts used by the original costume builders. It did end up costing a lot of money.

I should have mentioned, the helmet I bought from Wolfram Creations. I was in the process of making my own mask, but I had ran out of time and Wolfram's helmet looks fantastic. From what I understand he sculpts the mask out of clay and casts it.

Thanks for your costume info! And good luck on your Arbiter costume as well. That is going to be a heck of a lot harder than the Deathstroke costume.

Oh and please, check out my future tech helmet/mask build here. Still a few updates but when its done, I'm sure it will look great and tell me what you think about it. :) -http://www.405th.com/showthread.php?t=48306
