Halo Reach Assault Rifle Help?

Earlier this month me and my buddy started making our ODST armor in prep for SDCC17. We have ideas for weapons and I think the Reach assault rifle is the best one personally. Any help on how to make one out of eva foam?

Here is a very well made tutorial series made by AndrewDFT
Its not exactly a Reach AR, but it looks pretty good and is fairly easy to make. But if you want a more Reach style, he has a Reach silenced SMG on his channel somewhere.

There is a foam reach ar in the file archives, but just follow the basics in the previous videos

I would just layer it like any other gun. It's not much different, so just go about it like any other gun.

I was making a template based on the ideas AndrewDFT's Halo AR. Its not complete but I can send you a PNG of what I have to get you started. It isn't exact but its probably a decent start for you.
